Hi everyone and thanks for the warm welcomes I’ve already received. i just joined today after spending a few days combing through this site. I think everyone’s projects are great. I moved not too long ago to western Kentucky from Cleveland Ohio. I’m just setting up shop finally and trying to get things in order. I have been working on small projects but nothing too noteworthy yet, just pine tables and such. I still haven’t found a good source for nice lumber here.

I am 27 and expecting my first child. I was an art major and spent a fair amount of time working in technical theatre building sets and screwing around in the garage with my grandfather. Thats where i picked up 90% of my woodworking knowledge.

I guess I am just here to pick up great new ideas and tips and share what I can. I also have a blog at Blogger that I have been sharing some projects with my family on.” http://manowoodman.blogspot.com/ Anyways I look forward to being part of this group and wish you all the best!

Welcome to LJ’s. I’m sure you will enjoy your time spent here. This site has been a true blessing to some of us, though I don’t post much, I lurk and learn.
p.s. what do we call you?
Later,
Doug in AZ.
