I’m looking for some 1/4” maple inlay, doesn’t have to be figured at all. I’ve looked all over the place and all I can find is inlays that are patterned, and I just need plain maple with no other woods or patterns. I could just buy veneer, but I worry that I wouldn’t be able to cut perfectly evenly strips, it would be a lot easier to buy pre cut perfectly even inlay strips. And also from my bit of digging on the net, it seems like the inlay strips I found all come in 36” lengths, i would prefer to buy a longer continuous coil of it, maybe like a 10’ coil or something would be great, I don’t know if the product I’m after is out there, but I figured this would be a good place to ask.

Hi sam, what do you mean by inlay? Are you looking for a rectangular strip of maple like 2” wide 10’ long? Do you live in an area that maple grow?

I’m looking for very thin(1/32 think veneer) 1/4” wide strips of maple, here’s a link to a very similar product to what I need, but thus stuff is 1/8” wide and I need 1/4” wide. I have a bunch of maple, but would prefer to purchase this type of product rather than ripping down my own strips as the inlay I’m doing will be on the outside of a curved wooden surface
