JET BANDSAW

Buy the Jet.

Amazon has this Jet for $750 with free shipping, so this seems like a really good deal.

You never know about what to buy. But this Jet comes with good reviews and I don’t think you will be too disapointed. You can also get a riser kit for it someday it you want to re-saw tall boards for veneers.

Factory blades usually suck. Not sure about what Jet is including these days. You might want to stop by the bandsaw blade booth and see what they have to offer.

Cayce is a great company to work with. I bought a Powermatic Bandsaw from them at the show two years ago. Had problems with the fence and they made sure it was resoved. I didn’t notice at the show, but they are a Rockler partner and carry all Rockler stock at their store in Cockeysville.

I called Cayce this morning and they lowered the price even more for the final day of the show ($549.00). With the JET rebate, it comes out to $500.00, so I went ahead and bought one and also got the universal mobile base. I didn’t spend much time there, but it looked like they have a nice showroom (in Cockeysville, MD).
