I have a lot of walnut burl veneer given to me because it is very dry. Is their a way to make this veneer useable. It is about 0.020-0.030 inch thick. Are there any way to use it as is?

I have some very old walnut burl veneer that is in the same shape.
I mist it lightly with veneer softner (I use pro-glue brand), let air dry for about 15 minutes then lay it flat between sheets of brown paper (grocery bags work well)

Thanks Randy. I don’t know much about veneer and wasn’t sure I could even use it.

Water and glycerine wet it, lay flat between brown paper, you can get a roll of brown paper from HD or Lowes in the flooring dept.
