I am going to look at a delta 28-350 bandsaw tomorrow is this a good saw?The owner wants 850.00 for it what is a fair price presently saw is 3 phase so I will have to buy a single phase motor.

Might be a tad high, but were i looking, there is nothing new out there that will come close to it. I have the 28-3×0 and don’t intend to ever get rid of it

If you find that the seller does not have any wiggle room on it I don’t think you would have any remorse at the full asking price.

Even if you replace the motor and switch you’ll have 1000.00 – 1300 in it and I would challenge you to find a new 20 inch saw of that quality in that price range.

Good luck with it JB

Thanks JB,new tools in the grasp of us just are not like days gone by but value has been going out of products for quite sometime.Trying to find good used tools is also quite hard when sellers want so much for old tools which often need work on.I agree with you even at the numbers you indicated the saw would be better than new.
