My endless kitchen cabinet refacing project is finally coming to an end.

I’ve finished staining the new cabinet doors and drawer fronts.

I’m now putting on 3 coats polyurethane on these cabinet doors and drawer fronts.

My question is this: Since I’ve also gotten new drawer boxes, is there anything I can do to protect them? Basically, should I give them some polyurethane on the inside? Or should I just leave them alone in their unfinished wood form?

Poly the insides also. I go over the entire box. The front of the box doesn’t need to be coated since you will attach the front to it.

Have your say...
