Topic tags/keywords: wood hinges

Where can I find a video explaining how to make decorative wood hinges for jewelry boxes? I have tried to make some and seems like each attempt is worse than the last. I need to be shown….like most men, I am visual and just don’t learn by reading how something is done, I gotta see it.

Hi, I have seen a bunch of them on Youtube. The best hinge maker I saw was a gadget about $300 that make some impressive hinges and box joints. The hinge is really an unfolded box joint with corners rounded and hole through the center.

I use this simple integral wooden hinge and find it both attractive and effective.
