Topic tags/keywords: woodworking for mere mortals wwmm steve ramsey make a wish foundation donation bamboo sconces

I am writing this with the intent that you all wont be my competition but am super excited about the honor of owning signed Sconces from Woodworking For Mere Mortals/Steve Ramsey fellow LJ and a large contributor to my enjoyment of the craft of woodworking…

Believe the Make a Wish Foundation who receives the full purchase price is a good one and wish to thank Steve for making this contribution!! I hope to find time to do this at least once this year with a project and certainly would love to bid on a future project perhaps with purchase price going to Wounded Warrior or the like. Wont have near the following but will think of the appropriate project… Lightbulb Anyway, certainly appreciate everything you are doing… Tried the book club but ran into subscriptions in order to receive free book and wasn’t ready to commit :P

Hope that anyone reading this will consider supporting WWMM, Steve, his project for donations, or make your own… Still wondering about setup process but will make some projects for this endeavor… About time to confirm winning bid :) What fun…

You won this auction. :) Yay!!! and for a much lower price than I was willing to pay… Guess I’ll take the blame this time for not posting before 3 min out… :P Really do hope that anyone reading will support this endeavor with WWMM or just on your own… If I need the item as much or more as Sconces :) And have the tax refund to spare… Hope my project attains some sort of a donation, might need to be multiple projects… All the best!!!

165 bucks! well done. Now if Bailegh had said…build something sweet and we’ll match the Ebay price, even I may have participated. I may follow your lead. Well done. Good for you.

$210.33 with shipping and $25 extra donation to Make a Wish and I actually feel really good about the purchase, worth it in so many ways… Hope that you have wide success in the endeavor had the thought perhaps we could all do a swap where one goes to Ebay/cause and other to recepient?? Just a thought… Good fun all around, if I had the time I would participate in the Baileigh competition. Still need to make a supersized workbench, multiple plaques, and even a couple Christmas presents don’t say you don’t like Christmas in July :P Thanks OldSaxon…

Make a Wish is an awesome charity and everyone who supports them gets my vote. Steve cracks me up and when I’m getting too serious about life I just watch his WWMM Minutes and feel better. I have one question, why does he call them Minute videos when they last as long as he has air? Oh well, I guess it’s a West Coast thing, :)

Got severely outbid on the Power of Light piece which saved me from a $1300 lecture from SWMBO but still a disappointment. Figured I would share a pic of the sconces in their new home that I just moved to the computer.
