Looking to buy a drum sander looking at the grizzly 18×36 sander or the jet 16×32 sander . The cost right now is going to be the same I received email from a on line tool store having a 15 pct of sale this weekend for the jet model . I am leaning toward the jet because I can get indeed and out feed tables . But the grizzly will sand up to 4 inches . Any and all help is appreciated thanks Rob |

If you plan on making your own thin veneer, then the JET is the clear winner. The Grizz can only sand veneer down to 1/8” while the JET goes as thin as 1/32” Mike |

I have the 19-38 Supermax, great machine, love it. I had a used Grizzly and it made me very happy to see it go down the road. That was the only Grizzly tool I have not been happy with. -- Bob in Montana. Kindness is the Language the blind can see and deaf can hear. - Mark Twain |

Does the Grizzly table raise and lower, or is it the head….I was thinking it was the table like Delta….if it is…don’t walk away….RUN. +1 for the Supermax!!!! -- Mike |

I like my Performax 16/32, but it was easy to out grow it. They are slow. I will be looking at the Supermax 25”or the Grizzly 24” soon, but the Jet and Grizzly price may be more attractive to you. -- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!! |
