Topic tags/keywords: question

I was hoping to find a photo of a person (I believe to be Japanese) that had a threw tenon that was his signature ,I know I’ve seen this but can seem to find it on line. I wanted to show my students whats possible in our work shop on joinery.
Any help would really be appreciated .

Thanks Jim

Hi John
Thanks for the link, Morito certainly is a very talented designer and woodworker ,but I didn’t see the photo of the joint I had seen some where, perhaps in FWW . Since I have one of my classes in an hour or so I’ll have to try and find the photo and show it to my class next week. Thank you for your efforts .

Thanks Steve that’s cool but the joinery I’m talking about, the tenon is actual writing, that goes through a mortice to match, similar to the above photo with the table top but through the corner of a drawer if I remember right.
