Can it work as good as no. 60 for end grain? What is the primary and second bevel for cutter? Thanks.

The 220 does not have an adjustable mouth.

yes, will it work good for hardwood? Since I don’t have 60, I can’t make a comparison. Is adjustable mouth very important? Thanks.

Yes. Except for crude work an adjustable mouth is very
useful on a block plane.
