Topic tags/keywords: infill plane norris a12 sale

Hi all!

I have for sale a fantastic Norrys type A12 infill plane that I bought to Gerd Fritsche around 2 years ago.
Turned out that I never had the change to use extensively and now I am moving from business to hobby, so there is no need to keep such a beast as a tool for making birdhouses :-)

Gerd is based in Germany and has been making beautiful hand made infill planes since several years ago. This one I am selling now performs perfectly, the blade-sole gap is minimum, the adjuster is a dream to use and its weigt is perfect for long sessions.

Blade has been sharpened only once!. Wooden infill has been custom made from Jatoba, dovetailed body is made of steel, level cap and screw are made of brass and the knurled adjuster is made from brass too. Blade is reallu thick and made of D2 criogenically treated steel, hardened to HC61.

you can found the original information about this plane here:

List price for this plane is 1172 USD, but this plane today, that has been used around 10 times, and sharpened only once, is on sale for 900 USD shipment included to any place in the world, to be paid by paypal priducing 272 USD savings to you.

If you want to have full protection on your purchase, I can list it on Ebay, so you can be totally protected. In this case in order to cover their fees, price will raise up to 950 USD total ,shipment included.

Please see photos below. Anyone interested, please PM me. Thanks for reading!
