This should be a low impact suggestion.
When small projects are displayed like bowls and boxes it would be nice to have some manner of size standard as part of the display, I think showing money is illegal but say a small visible rule, set of dice etc. would provide dimensional perspective.
Thanks for all the great projects to look at.

Know what you’re saying. I’ve seen several things that I thought were HUGH till I realized it was a small box or a toy. Kinda like that old saying … “size matters” :-)

I totally agree. Put something else in the pic to give some sense of scale.

I think the Poster should include sufficient Information along with his/her Project to establish more that just the size.

“My Wife’s Night Table”. “Some More “Whatever”, “My First Posting. Hope You Like It” “Some Christmas Ornaments”. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Doesn’t really cut it.

The ones that have little or no Info written about there Project, also SEEM to be the ones that 3 or 4 Projects Posted one right after the other.

Is it a Problem to add details such as Size, Type of Wood, Finish Applied, Any Special techniques Used, and so on?

If you look at some of the “Veterans Postings” ALL that Info is usually there.

Then we could discuss some of the PICTURES (If you want to call them Pictures) that are also Posted with the Project! THE PITS! BUT! I’ll stay away from that as this posting is not about that.

FWARMC: Yes. Even if all the info is Posted a Visual Reference Object that will identify the size of the Project IS a Good Idea.

Thank You: Rick
