Debating on a steel city or grizzly table saw. Specifically a SC 35990 or 35950 or a Grizzly 0715. Has anybody recently purchased one of these? Are the alignment issues with the 0715 really fixed?

i’d go with the SC and not worry about the 715s possible alignment issues. the cabinet mounted trunions alone make the SC a better idea, along with the integrated mobile base.

Does the base on the steel city move around easy and is it stable when saw is down? Found a promo steel city that will be on sale for $850 in a couple weeks, basically same saw as a craftsman 22116 with granite top. Does not have mobile base. The 35950C with base is $900. Plus tax. Have a 5% coupon for Grizzly which makes it about $855 w/delivery and no tax. Seems like 35950C might be best buy if the saw is any good, but may have to pick it up. The warranty on Grizzly is 1 yr, warranty on SC is 2 yrs but I’ve seen some say its 5. Anybody know for sure?

I think the fence is better on the 35950C, the 22116, and the G0715P than the one on the 35990.
