Topic tags/keywords: question bandsaw router

Got my latest tool offering from Woodpeckers by email. This new supertrack flip stop seems classic woodpeckers—it has features I haven’t seen before, but at a ridiculous price. I use supertrack for my router table and bandsaw fences.

I like the fact that this flip stop can be flush to the fence or allow for a subfence or simply extend further depending on the use. I have been using blocks of wood and 1/4 inch bolts for my stops so far.

They’re “on sale” for $29.99. Anyone use these and think they’re worth the $’s?

Those look pretty nice. The complaints I have heard about the similar Kreg flip stops is that they have too much slop in them for precision cuts. Maybe these will prove better in that regard.

Like you, I use a wood block for router table stops, and they work just fine. Chamfering the bottom corner provides a nice dust relief.

I sue those from Greg on my miter saw, I am not very happy with them.
These one look better.

I made my own flip stops for my panel saw. These would work and probably
more resistant to being loosened by panels sliding into them. I looked
at a lot of flip stop designs before making my own.

I think you could make better (more accurate) stops for a lot less money.
