I have looked at the 3 reviews for this saw and wondering how this design is holding up over time. The blade raise/lower design is unique and my concern is how the bearings and steel guide rods are wearing over time. These parts bear the weight of the motor, so I get concerned over wear paterns that form with this design. Are the bearings still tight or does the blade raise/lower shows signs of tilt or slop because of wear in bearing or wear on support rods. Looking at purchasing this saw and looking for feedback from current and past owners. If you have an opinion of the design, or other saws i should purchase, please do not respond.
