Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw box photo request video resource question

I’m starting the editing for a video and I realized I need a few photo examples of Bandsaw boxes. The video is about how I made one, but I’d like to show examples of others. Knowing it is much easier to ask than to beg permission later, Here I am.

If you’ve made a bandsaw box, particularly one out of the ordinary, and wouldn’t mind have a still of it in a video for a few seconds, please post a reply here, or PM me. I’ll do the work of going to your project page and grabbing the shot if you like. I’ll add your name to the still, even your real name if you tell me, and will even add a credit to you at the end of the video.

Donna Menke ( Sp) has a bandsaw box site that might be of some help.
Also Steve ( WMM) has many pictures and a video of how to make a simple one. He is a Jock..

I guess I should mention my video is in Esperanto, so the problem isn’t that I don’t know how to do it. I just need pictures of different bandsaw boxes to show the different shapes they can take. The one I make in the video is rather simple. There will be an English version as well. A friend in Britain didn’t know what I meant, so I thought this would be a good subject for the worldwide community.

Not the greatest pictures, but use ‘em if you want.
Both are walnut and maple.
The first one (Habu) is about 8” tall X5” deep.
The second one (Lotus) is about 16” tall and 5 1/2” deep.
All drawers are flocked.

Thanks guys. Just what I was looking for. I hope to have the video up next week. Been spending a lot of time shoveling snow.

gfadv, robdem and Gene,

Thanks for allowing me to use pictures of your bandsaw boxes in my video. I finally finished the editing and got it uploaded. Here's a link to see it on YouTube.
