I’ve owned this plane for as long as I can remember can anyone guide in finding it’s age.
Right below the No. 5 embossment it says G12-005 if that helps.

Post clear disassembled pics of the plane on this thread. Lots of hand plane experts hang out there, but they will need crisp pics of the frog and the lateral adjuster to offer advice on dating the plane.

Nice one. The UK ones have thicker castings.

From what I’ve read, there’s no definitive type study on UK
made Stanley planes.

The orange paint around the logo on the lever cap is a
clue, though with a wide time range. You can Google
that yourself and ponder the implications of the orange
paint I think.

My wild guess is 1970s or later,

The ribs on the back, rounded upper blade portion and modern frog style say 70’s and up.

Thank you all, I did Google it and found a lot of information. 70’s estimate would be in right range based on my activity at that time.
