Topic tags/keywords: jig question shaping

Hi,
I think you can help me better than what I’ve found so far on the net!!!

I am trying to make a jig that will help me make a multi chain collar. It needs to begin with an oval that will be from a chain that is 15 inches long. I have been trying all morning to figure this out and I can get a great oval, using one of your instructions, but I am fit to be tied if I can figure out how to get it to the size using that 15” chain.

Any Help would be appreciated!
Denise

Maybe this will help? Sounds like you need to find the circumference of the oval.

Try 6 for the long axis and 3 for the short axis.
