Topic tags/keywords: wood find oak

Just wanted to pass this along since I know how hard it can be to track down cheap hardwood in nw alabama. I am not not affiliated with this seller. http://shoals.craigslist.org/mat/4303717317.html

Thanks, but I can get all I would need right here in Tupelo.

There is a small sawmill in New Market AL that sells oak, hickory, maple, and maybe other locally harvested wood. The web site is

I’ve bought wood from them. Nice people. The wood is rough cut, some is skip planed.

Robert of Hobby Hardwood is one fine fellow. I visited with him to learn about his kiln when I was designing mine, and I was very impressed with his operation. You could not find a better place to buy wood.

If you need wood in GA, go to my profile and click on my website link.
