Topic tags/keywords: sawstop 10 contractors saw tablesaw alignment trunion

I have owned a Saw Stop 10” 1.75hp contractors saw and love it. Recently after cutting a lot of purple heart and hard maple I noticed my cuts weren’t straight. When I checked the blade against the mitre slot it is out of alignment by .009, way too much for a decent cut.

Unlike a cabinet saw where you can simply adjust the tabletop on a contractors saw you need to adjust the trunion assembly. I am looking for instructions, suggestions, guidelines on how to access the trunions on a 10” Saw Stop contractors saw. I see nothing on this matter on the web or the Sawstop site. I stopped in to the store where i bought it and they said, “check the on-line communities so here I am. Can anyone help me?
