Some of you know that I am a Lyric/Music Writer.

James Burton On Lead Guitar..

I wanted to share this with you all.

Here is a link to a song that I wrote called SIX STRINGS with James Burton (Elvis Presley’s Lead Guitar Player)
playing along with an ALL STAR Band to include my friend Wayne Durham (Merle Haggard), JD Maness , Jim Cox, Jim Christie, Howard Yearwood, Candy Girard, & Thersa Spanke

SIX STRINGS _ JAMES BURTON

They were all in on the recording of THREE songs that I wrote Lyrics for. Six Strings, Last Bridge, and IT!

Performed at the Crystal Palace California. Produced by Wayne Durham and Mastered at RCA Records!

I’m blessed..

If you like my writing… Here is a link to one of my sites..:)

Song writing is a true talent in artistry and wisdom. That was a great song played by some incredible musicians.

My hat is off to you.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

All I can say is those masters of music must have known they had a gem to play.
Loved your song and hope to hear more.
And I agree with Bill above. Writing is a true talent.
One that I don’t have, but truly appreciate in others.
(Subscribed to your YouTube channel and intend to go all the way through it.)

Thanks for the treat David, and please share more when you can.

Thanks for sharing your song with us David. You are truly a multi-tallented guy. You captured the country music sound like it used to be.

Thanks LEE..
The music industry is a rocky road…
It’s nice to have ICONS that I’ve idolized, actually work with some of my material.
It means a lot to me.

David, I have a few tunes I’ve been working on and I was wondering if..er.. umh.. ah….......

My and thousands of others endeavors reminded me of Alan Jackson’s ” Talking Repair Shop Blues ”. Just substitute Wood Shop in my case.

It is an honor to be around a star. While you wait on that finish to dry on your next project, Keep on writing. It’s a pleasure to know you as both a woodworker, AND, a music writer.
