Need the smaller 30” fence (tube) for the Dewalt 746.
Maybe someone upgraded to the longer 52” fence and has saved the 30”.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks for looking!

I have a couple of 30” tubes from bes fence systems. If they will work for you I would take $40.00 plus shipping.

Thanks and that’s a good price but don’t think they will work. Thank You
I can always cut the longer ones down, in a pinch. I think 32” is about the max for most folks; this is the 52” Pro Package.

Been finding parts and working on this saw – not bad I guess. Sometimes I think they try too hard and miss the mark. E.g. they needed long-er support bars front/back – which I put in and made a huge difference. That was pretty easy, about 3hours work.

The tubes and wings are NLA, but went back to the seller and we found the wings stashed away.

The Pro package needs a whole garage to set up – front table, huge side table, etc. This does have the sliding left table. Going to break down and shrink wrap the pro table stuff.

DangerDoug,

Are you still looking for those rails? I have them. Actually just took them off of my DW746. Let me know…

Woo-Who!! found the 30” fence , brand new in the box and at the low Amazon price.
Want to give a shout out to Robert’s Tool and Supply; sent them a email and they found one.
This is probably the last to be had in the lower 48.
Super fast ship also – - 2 days.

Couple of surprises here, had to invert the back rail for the sliding table, which is mentioned in the DeWalt manual (can download from DeWalt btw) If not inverted, the slider table is blocked.

The saw is somewhat robust, although this plastic piece (center photo) is really lightweight (toy like) and since removing the fence is common I don’t see it lasting long. Seems a bit over designed and they could have have simply added white nylon sliders under the fence – like a Bies. It looks like a finger clamp system, but it just glides on the upside down “L” (gray).

*nylon sliders—-can’t remember the name of that material

Here’s another pic of the “tune up”.
i.e. added 3” x 1/4” Alum supports.
These extra pieces bolted right to existing holes in the DeWalt bracket-clips and drilled the Alum where needed.
It’s an easy concept; easier then it looks and only took a few hours using pony clamps and straight edge.
Both wings are supported nicely and super straight. The fence is a smooth slider and stays parallel.

What are you doing with the 52” rail and pro table stuff? You stated, ” This does have the sliding left table. Going to break down and shrink wrap the pro table stuff.” Are you looking to sell?

Have your say...
