Hi, hoping some one can help me, l bought a 14’’ TradeMaster Bandsaw a few years ago have not used it was in storage. Went to remove the 3/8’’ blade to put on 1/2’’ blade thinking could do more with it.
Turned out couldn’t get it so my friend come over set up bandsaw leaving 3/8’’ blade in it. But when l start bandsaw where it goes down threw the table metal insert guide hole, l think blade is touching the side of the metal guide insert.

Is there suppose to be a space between the side of the blade and the sides of the table insert metal guide ?
My bandsaw didn’t come with a manual and have had no luck downloading one, TradeMaster l called them said they were sending me a manual and a miter guage but was 6 months ago.
I hope l explained the above well enough.
Thanks Jim, Ontario, Canada

Jim,
My metal guide has the slot slightly off center- i don’t know why. Maybe yours is the same. If you flip the guide over, would that correct the problem??

EDIT: This might be the manual you need
