Topic tags/keywords: annoying forum format Honest to Pete … the forum page is all screwed up again! Who thinks it is a good idea to expose the entire contents of the original post (unformated) so you have to scroll through blobs of text? Yeah … it is not the end of the world and nobody has died, but it is annoying as h@ll. -- Gerry -- "I don't plan to ever really grow up ... I'm just going to learn how to act in public!" |

I don’t think it is a ‘new format’. Nothing to get excited about, just some server error that will probably get fixed with a patch or a reboot. Servers are machines, machines need maintenance from time to time. |

Actually Jerry, someone has died over this. JustJoe will be along in a minute to share the tragic and sad news. Greg |

I don’t like the format change or server error or whatever it is. The original (or error free) is better than this. The Daily Top 3, Daily Top 15, and zoom for project posts doesn’t work or is non-existent. I lot of people seem frustrated with it all and will probably result in member loss. -- Measure "at least" twice and cut once |

The format is making it more difficult to see how many posts have been made on a certain thread because at this time the right side advertisement banner is covering up that important information. -- . |

I do not mind the long format, in fact I like it better -- Bert |

I think it is a good idea, I like it but I know some people don’t cope well with change. -- Rick M, http://thewoodknack.blogspot.com/ |

I also do not like the new format. I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult to give us viewing options so those who like it this way can have it like this and those who like the old way can have it the old way. -- No craft is very far from the line beyond which is magic. -- Lord Dunsany |

It’s not a “format”, or an “idea”, it’s not change, it’s a malfunction. It’s broken. The lack of top 15 (and the header still present on the page) is not change, it’s broken. Code doesn’t go bad or break suddenly. It’s not a car engine. -- David - Tucson, AZ |

I thought something was wrong with my computer when the “zoom” feature was / is all messed up and all that text is annoying as Fudge. Endless scrolling just to get to the next possible review you might be interested in. -- I'm absolutely positive that I couldn't be more uncertain! |

I suppose you all sent a PM to the people who fixed this last time??? Not yet? Why not? -- A Planer? I'M the planer, this is what I use |

If I knew who ”… the people who fixed this last time …” were, I would have PM’d them already. But since I don’t know who they are, I thought I would just post a message in ‘Site Feedback’ on the off chance that if they gave enough of a damn about their website they would check that forum once in awhile. -- Gerry -- "I don't plan to ever really grow up ...
