I had this looking at me a year ago. Reminded me of something in a Tom Hanks movie.

I saw this cabinet door on another forum. It was in a Baptist minister’s home. He told the contractor to GET IT OUT!

Here is a Shaker cabinet that I made for my sister and it has a veneered front that I had glued up as a practice for learning some vacuum veneering. I had no real plans for it when i glued the panel. To me it looks like a Can-Can dancer.

this is from my recent desk i made, its a book matched piece of cherry, its the grizzman all over the place, don’t ya just love his face…lol…ggrrrrrrrrr…

and here is the bears behind, in the same piece i made, this one is book matched walnut, i named the desk coming and going, this was a piece i could not resist in making, too many pieces of wood made this come together, butt i think this is where this wood was meant to be…

No pictures, just memories of my uncles work with knotty pine. Collected the pine from WWII shipping crates as the material in crates was better than could be bought at the lumber yards due to the “war effort”. He made horse heads, and other faces and patterns through book matching the pine boards. Use to amaze this youngster!

I once had to change an oak cabinet door because it had a likeness of “the devil” in it according to the customer, wish I had a pic but it was over 25 years ago
