Check with JuanM.
He’s the site admin. He doesn’t seem to make much of a presence on here. He has nothing on his profile. You would think he would at least intro himself and keep everyone up to speed on what is happening. He did make a couple quick comments on previous posts about the site quirks.
He could at least keep track of what is going on in the Site Feedback Forum. Very poor administration if you ask me.
He has only made 17 posts in over a year.

^ agree^
Don’t really care either way, none of my stuff is good enough to make it into the top 15 anyway.

I’m still getting multiple HD ads on every post I open. Does that count? I don’t get the top 15 either.

I don’t mind the ads. They are just a part of doing business. The new owners did not purchase this site for it to be a cash drain on them. I even have clicked on and bought an item that came up. Didn’t know I NEEDED it till I saw it. The majority of the site is functioning like it was, EXCEPT for the Daily Top 15. I was always really jazzed when one of my projects made the Daily Top 3. One of the great features of this site IMHO.

Agreed, I miss the top 15. I always got a heck of a sense of pride when one of mine made the top 15. (Top three and I go through the roof)! If there is no room because of the ad’s, create a button where the top 15 opens. you know on the top. Projects…..top 15…...blogs…...forums…...videos. You get it?

ads are easy enough to get rid of with free add-on software. I saw a post a few days ago asking about them so I turned my add-on off and saw what everyone was talking about. Then turned in right back on. :)

I haven’t been able to access the “Daily top 15” and was pretty sure my puter was broken – happy to hear the break is not on mine.

I inquired about the ads with the local Home Depot manager. The lost and confused look solidifies my theory that they are behind this issue. Man they are good actors, even the staff…...

I really, really miss the daily top 15. It’s been the best part of my day for over a year now. What’s worse, I just posted my first project today “Tea Party Trestle Table” (a quarter-sawn rock maple trestle table scaled for my 3 year old daughter)

http://lumberjocks.com/projects/96250

I was like a little kid on Christmas tuning in to see if I’d made the top 15. Granted, it’s incredibly unlikely it would have made the top 15, but I can’t tell you how bummed I was to see that the top 15 wasn’t even there.

On the bright side, now at least I can tell myself that it certainly would have made the top 15, and I can blame it on a software glitch that it didn’t! I guess there is always a silver lining… :)

I will print a copy of your project and take it to Home Depot and demand they put in in the Top 15. If they refuse or act dumb again I will go have some Mexican then a six pack of Krystal Sunriser gut grenades and pay them a visit walking up an down all the isles farting quietly making customers and staff gag. Then I am going to leave them a nice present and put duct tape over the eye in the toilet so it will not flush. That will show them!!!!

ROFLMAO

Nicholas, I am pretty sure your table would have made the top 15, and even the top 3. It is a very nice project and very well executed.

I Saw that the “Top Daily / 15” came back. I assume that they can also calculate retroactive the “Top Daily 3” for the missing days as they did it when they established this calculation?
