I was reading some threads about making prototypes out of cardboard and balsa- all good ideas.

But I was wondering if there were any toys that were good for this? Like Lego’s or Linkin Logs or…

I am in the early planning stage of a project and there are some widely different approaches to the design and I wanted to try some things… Like, I want to make pre-mock-up mock-ups.

Toys like Legos would be pretty expensive and limited for prototyping purposes. If you want ABS plastic prototypes you’d be better off investing in a MakerBot.
