Haven’t been looking for one, but found this today. Think I should pull the trigger? It’s a Freud table. Will make my own base for it later.

Where is the Plunge base?

Personally I am not fond of the table, but why would you need to make your own base for the table?

I’d make a base for the table for storage and mobility around the shop. I have a seperate plunge router. This would be permanently mounted and not have to mess with it.

I currently have a Craftsman router and table. The old metal one.

Price seems a bit high for what you get. The table costs what, $100 new?

I got that same router in even better condition for $60 and it came with 8-10 bosch bits even still that 5615 goes for maybe $150 new and that table looks like garbage, I’d say maybe $120 at most.

Guess I shoulda looked at the dimensions when I was looking at everything else online. 18×23 doesn’t seem to fit the bill I was looking for.

Glad I got ya’ll’s opinion. Sometimes I get a little ahead of myself ;)

Way too much, you can get a cast iron one for $349!
