I came across this infill smoother at an antique mall today. Price is $189, firm. Is it worth purchasing and reselling?

There are no special marks on it. The iron has a barely visible “Cast Steel Warranted” at the top. The only other writing on it are a couple initials, probably of the owner.

-- More tools, fewer machines.

Probably not. The valuable ones often have adjusters or
come from identifiable makers.

It’s probably a nice user though.
