Topic tags/keywords: resource maple carving dough bowl blanks

Howdy folks. I’m in search of some Maple large enough to make dough bowls. Preferably Ambrosia or curly Maple or anything with some nice figure. The bowls I’m wanting to make range between 15-22” long, 8-14” wide and 4-5” tall. I’m asking if anyone has something this size laying around that wouldn’t mind selling or if you’ve got a contact to someone that does.

Thanks

If you don’t find what you are looking for, let me know; I have a large 1/3 log of “big leaf” maple with plenty of swirly figure I can cut custom to your dimensions. It was cut down 2 years ago, been laying off the ground since as I have had other things going on. I’m in NW Oregon.
