Topic tags/keywords: korea native wood wood from the far east

I am in Seoul for a few days. Is there a unique, native wood you would recommend I try to find while I’m here?

Bill it’s very likely to have several problems but I’m here, I have a bit of time, I ‘m just asking . I’m traveling with my son and his wife, here to pickup their newly adopted son. I see woodcraft here by street vendors bur am not sure of the species. Most of my projects are small; I could probably Fedx no more than I’d buy. Then someday give my grandson a little gift made by me with wood from his homeland.
