Johnhutchinson and basswood are a breath of fresh air with their posts and comments. Welcome to both of you. At least you didn’t ask us what tablesaw to buy. :-)

I was going to ask what you would recommend for lunch, but if it bothers you so much I’ll just have left overs covered in saw dust. :)

OK, I sent them both buddie requests so I can enjoy their posts also.

So what’s a good way to respond to a post like that? I was thinking maybe typing something on the keyboard and computer since that’s all I have at the moment, but I can get an ipad cheap on CL. Or maybe I should buy one of those new smart-phones with an app. I don’t plan on doing a lot of responding to such posts, and I’m not even sure what an app is, and I only have a budget of $300. Would it be cheaper just to use the old keyboard or should I get the smart-phone and try to find a free app? I like the idea of the ipad, but I hear they are made in China and I like to buy American if I can (USA! USA! USA!). I know we’ve got something like 2.4 gajillion reviews of keyboards, ipads, and smart-phones but I really need your opinion on the matter because even though I’ve never met you, I can tell by your avatar that you are a solid guy and your opinion means the world to me.

Thanks!
PS: I decided while typing this that I’m just going to go with the keyboard. But the thing is, I have this black one that says emachines on it, and a white one that says HP. They both weigh the same, but I think the keys on the white one are just a bit stiffer, but the letters on the escape key on the black one are fading and ….

First, Thanks for the welcome!

Second, I’m not wandering off anywhere with any new buddies, you might be axe murderers for all I know!

Third, I forget. Might not have much more to contribute at this rate.

Cheers, Bass

What router should I buy? Should I get a wifi router or an Ethernet router? Should I specify a PC? Hitachi? Bosch? Cisco? Linksys? Belkin? And how will each one fit into my router table?
What about router bits? Are there 8 router bits to a router byte?
How about a Collet? Collette? I’d like a slim redhead with some outstanding points! Or is that a Colleen?

These and more questions are waiting to be answered!

Because I don’t need a table saw, LOL.

I do need a good router though. I am leaning toward the 1/2”, 3 1/4HP, Ethernet/wifi combination.

Dallas, I have always leaned towards Netgear or Dewalt for my router needs… :-)
