Topic tags/keywords: question

My wife is quite crafty (scrapbooking, has a silhouette machine, sews, etc.) and looking for a next project. We thought it might be fun to find something that involved woodworking and had a crafty aspect so we could create something together. We thought of picture frames, sewing room accessories, etc. and she looked around Pinterest but I know this group will have some other great ideas. I have a full compliment of tools and we’d like it to be something we could complete in a weekend or two. Thanks in advance. -Cameron

I recently introduced my wife to lathe work and she is really enjoying the learning journey. Projects are pretty quick if doing pens, pulls, etc.

There is also the combination of mosaic art and stained glass panels that work nicely together. My wife does the mosaic work and I provided the frames. From there, you can also branch into window panels or trivets, etc.

Have your say...
