Topic tags/keywords: question

After study the plans and projects I want to build a jointer.
I have a very small table mounted 8” jointer total table length 27”
For my small shop I want the tables to pivot , so they fold away.
Is there a design already ?
The reuse of the cutter head is a option , 8” , two knives.
The knives are end off live and therefore I need new ones.
Should i go for a three knive head or a helix type cutter head ?
Schould I make the infeed table longer than the outfeed table ? Total length comes around 60”
In both cases I want the best pricing and a shop that delivers to Belgium.
Some advice would be appreciated.

Yes , the price for a 12” model is to much for me , I have ordered a 4 knive cutterhead that runs at 6500 Rpm.
Maybe a idea for my anniversary or Christmas ( any date would fit…. )
