8 PPI Cross Cut Panel Saw

I’ve had it for about a year, and have always stored it with the tooth guard on it. I haven’t used it anywhere near enough, and have since pretty much replaced it with my vintage Disston D-7’s instead. Vintage just suites my taste a little better.

It’s perfectly straight, and still decently sharp. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to give it a little touching up, though. The handle is in great shape, and doesn’t show any signs of heavy use, and is still clean (I told you I haven’t used it anywhere near enough). I still have the original box as well.

SELLING ON EBAY

Last call on this, probably going to hit eBay and/or craigslist tomorrow or Tuesday otherwise.

I kind of want a pair of Wally panel saws…

My original plan was to get a Wenzloff & Sons panel saw kit, and have TerryR make me a tote for it. That didn’t work out at the time (on my end), and now it seems they don’t sell those for the time being… Oh well.

It’s listed on eBay, and there’s already a bid on it. We’ll see what happens…

Oh it’ll sell. That’s one nice thing about LN….you’ll get most of your money back. Not that I’ve had the heart to sell any;)

Ya, I even kicked around getting a Pax and making my own handle. All kinds of options.

yeah, started auction at what I paid, and there’s already 2 bids, so as far as I’m concerned, I’ve already come out ahead…

Very well done ! I don’t use hand tools much since my parkinsons problems don’t really make it easy and as far as strength is concerned I use motorized tools whenever I can.I know these are nice but I would balk at spending that kind of money on a handsaw. Then I’m Scottish.LOL Alistair
