The school I teach at on it’s 5th snow day. I had a chance to talk to one of the other teachers while I was working on some things at school. His relatives owned and started Sprunger machinery co. I had seen these machines on craigslist but never made the connection on where the company was located. It was just 30 miles from where I am at. Since his last name is Sprunger and he is from Topeka Indiana I should have made the connection. He remembers as a kid being around the factory. Nice story, I hope to have a chance to get more info on the company. Maybe some copies of family pictures of the factory.

I think I saw a “Sprunger Bros” table saw on Craigslist a few weeks ago.

I have a Sprunger Model “A” 14” band saw that I’m in the process of restoring. It was made about 1950 and was still running when I bought it. I plan on doing a blog of the restore when I get the time to work on it.
