In my local CL for $100. Just wondering if it’s an ok deal or not. Don’t know that I need a jointer, but I like the idea of easily being able to start my projects with square wood, at least until I learn to do it with a plane.

Description: 6” Jointer in great running condition. Two sets of blades both newly sharpened. New shut off switch.

For a hundred bucks I think it’s a fine deal. Just make sure the tables are coplaner and it runs well and I think it will do good work for you

I would buy it for that price.

As long as it runs, $100 is a pretty decent price. Even if the tables aren’t perfectly co-planar, you can always shim them.

I’ve got an older version of this machine and it works great. Bring a piece of wood in and run it through. If the tables are in line and flat with each other and it runs then the price looks very fair.

My jointer and planer are where a almost always start any piece of furniture. Doing so makes things go much better as assembly takes place. Even s4s wood takes on a bow or warp by the time it’s purchased. i’ve yet to run into a straight piece of wood that I don’t joint/plane first.

Not yet. Hope it’s still there. Called the guy and left a message. It was still available last night. Fingers crossed.

haha…it’s sold so no worries…just not to me :(

I emailed the guy the night before and let him know as long as it was as described I wanted it and would call him the next day. Next day I called and left a message and shot him an email. A bit later I got a text that it sold the night before. Kinda pissed about it but I’m sure another will come along and I’m not in a hurry to get one so….I’ll just wait for the next deal.
