Happy New Year!

I am a resident of Northern California but living in Cranberry, PA for the next year or two while working on a project in the area. I have a full shop at home but did not bring any tools with me. I have been looking for a woodworking club/group in the Cranberry area but not found anything yet. I have checked with Lumber Yards, Hardware Stores, local schools and recreation departments to see if there were any classes being offered but no one seems to be into that here. If anyone has any information or input for me it would be greatly appreciated. Even a lathe for a small project. I am building a custom fly rod and would like to turn a nice wood handle instead of the standard cork.

I need to smell some wood dust!

Thank you!

Not a whole lot up here—I’m a mile or so from you, in Mars

Western PA Woodworkers is the only club I know of:
but they don’t have a shop.

There is a Tech Shop in Pittsburgh that has everything you could want:
but the membership fee is a bit steep.

GNA runs classes in McKees Rocks:

Thank you! I will check it out. I drive through Mars/Valencia often.
Be safe.
