I would appreciate if someone who owns a Stanley 4 1/2 in the Type 10 to Type 17 range could tell me the outside width of the bottom casting. I find several references to iron width, but have not found a reference to the outside width of the actual plane body itself. I know there are variations in casting, but not enough to make a difference for my purpose. Thank you for your consideration.
