you mean the ones that you drill a countersink pilot hole then flip it over to drive a screw?

if so I’ve had one for about 5 years. I had this Dewalt kit for about 4 but eventually the set screws that hold the countersink bit and screwdriver insert bit into the flip piece fell out or broke. as full disclosure I replaced the countersink pilot bits about 3 years after i bought the kit.

When the set screws went I bought another basic piece and must have thrown it out in the box it came in by accident since I’ve never seen it since the day it came.

I hated not having one of these sets so I just went to lowes and bought the kobalt version=. The kit then sat for 6 months unopened until I actually needed (guess I could have ordered another dewalt piece). Overall I do like the kit, but have only used it once and was less than impressed with the cut of the countersink. I think with this one I’d have to see if I can use my old countersink bits or if I can upgrade the countersink bits with a better type.

Looking back I’d totally go with the dewalt set if it was available locally. If your ok with the price increase and the shipping of the dewalt set the order online otherwise the kobalts not a bad buy even if you do have to but a better set of countersink bits

I have the makita set and an older set, not sure of brand. Other than broken drill bits they have held up good. Both get job done.
