My wife is a football junkie. I am so sick of it. The shop is unheated and needs a major overhaul so I can walk around in it. so that is a no go.
I must not be a real man not caring for sports. Would knitting be OK for me during these dark times? There is so little time between the Super Bowel and preseason games.
Ah - the Super Bowel. That great digestive organ somewhere between the Super Stomach and the Colossal Colon.
The only other option for that time period is English soccer. So yes, knitting is quite acceptable.
I live near Green Bay … there is a law here that you have to be a Packer fan … otherwise they'll extradite you to Minnesota. My wife actually watches ESPN in her sewing room!
Too funny. My wife is a football junkie too. Meanwhile, I make it a point to not even know what a forty yard line is. Now, ya wanna talk wood, cars, tools, quantum physics, magnetics and so on, let's go.
No one in my family likes sports (except for me). I use to watch all the time but now the wife and kids … well is just easier not to watch.
