Topic tags/keywords: drum sander sander power tool jet finishing

I have a chance to buy a 1-year old (lightly used) Drum Sander for $850. I’ve read a lot of good reviews on this model but not sure I want to spend this much. Is this a reasonable price?

When I was searching for a used drum sander I came across a used 22-44 for $1100,read reviews on it and they were mostly positive,I also found out it needs a dedicated 20 amp fuse.

This is an excellent price for a machine in good working order.

You need to decide if it’s a good value. A drum sander is a luxury item. With that said, I love mine and use it regularly. It saves me time.

As Ken mentioned, it draws a lot of power. I added a dedicated circuit for my dust collector, and you need dust collection with the sander.

looks like he dropped the price to 650$ ... now that is a deal… If you don’t get it soon, I will

$650 would be a jump in the truck and race over there NOW with the cash in hand!

Unless I’m missing something,
I don’t see how your getting any reasonable feedback with no mention of what machine your talking about.
I guess from the replies any drum sander is worth that much, hmmmm

That being said, drum sanders are nice and are worth having.
