But then maybe I do. Even politics could be involved. Anyway, I was sooooo happy to see Alabama get their butts beat last night. I have always considered the SEC a puffed bunch and Alabama even more so. Here’s why.
If you look at the ‘bama schedule you’ll see they have two kinds of opponents, chumps and other SEC teams. If you are even a little bit good with that kind of schedule then how can you not only lose two games maybe one. If you’re a little better than good then you might even go undefeated. I mean what kind of test is Central State of the Divine. Do they even have a team?
Last night Alabama met a team that could play. I won’t even start to discuss Ohio State and the “tough” schedule they’ve had to get to 20 or 30 victories in a row. I even think one of their games was against a JC team that took them to the last minute to beat. Oh my!
Some people from ‘bama consider football as a religion. I don’t so forgive me if you do and please don’t accuse me of breaking my resolution… :-)

Close, very, very close to violating section 106.7b of the New Year Resolution code, but I think your safe. BTW, God was on OU’s side. ;)

you may be in one of the few topics more passionate to some than politics and religion. In SEC country football is first.

On the other hand, I was rooting for OU also.

Hey KC went from 2 and 14 to 11 and 5 in one year is nothing to cry about!

If I was a Houston Texan fan from the playoffs last year to 2 and 14 ….. I would cry at that nose dive!

Or the Detroit Lions who started out with a roar and left in a whimper by losing to the lowly Vikings who were at 4 and 10 at the time.

For every winner there has to be a loser and the NFL is no exception; but there are bigger than normal losers too!

I must admit a “please please please lord” during last nights championship game.
I enjoyed Auburn getting knocked down by Florida State.

Gotta love watching the SEC lose in bowl games!

Also the Nebraska Georgia game made me smile!
