Topic tags/keywords: wood

Good morning and happy new year. I am a brand new starter into wordworking and appreciate any tips and help available. I would like to start with some simple intarsia products but am having trouble finding wood locally (I am hesitant to start off by buying on the internet) – I live in the Philadelphia, PA area near the town of Norristown. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I went to Spacht Sawmill on Saturday; they werre marvelous!! Dave Spacht and his colleagues treated me like family. The had a great selection of wood at very modest prices. I am now in the middle of my first intarsia project. Thanks Dave.
