How many times can a Forrest WW I 10” thin kerf blade (60T) be sharpened? Been reading how great these blades are but can’t really afford a new one. Saw this one on CL.

What do you guys think? Worth it?
Thanks

As an alternative to used, the Infinity 010-060 is a very similar design to the WWI, and is every bit as good a performer….one of my favorite blades. $70, new with warranty, etc…..your call.

Ok thanks. Looks good. WhAt determines wether a blade should or could be sharpened or be replaced instead. I have some Freud blades and I’m not sure if they are worth sharpening or replacing.

Basic quality and the amount of carbide are the main factors IMO. Your Freud blades are worth sharpening IMO, as are the Forrest, Infinity, CMT, Amana, Ridge Carbide, Tenryu Gold, Delta Industrial, Leitz, Everlast, Systimatic, Oshlum, and many others.
