I’m a bit confused which slides I should buy for a trestle table I am going to build. The table will open at the center and be 42×72. I only plan on having two 12” leaves, but I like the self storage idea which would mean the table would need to open at least 42” so the leaves can come out.

What is the difference between equalizer slides and “trestle table” slides?

Trestle table slides are installed (typically) at both ends of the table. Equalizer, and other slides, are installed in the middle of the table.
