Topic tags/keywords: question router

I’m considering getting the Marvel 42 3-IN-1 Router kit from MLCS.

Does anyone have one and have any experience and advice they’d like to share?

I’d also get the 9399 6” Universal Router Base Plate which would allow me to use standard PC style template guide bushings…

I have this under the C-man label.. Don’t waste your money. No matter what I did it wouldn’t hold a router bit. I would be mid way down a board and the bit would creep down. I tried new collets, different tightnesses, and different bits. nothing worked. my advice is just get a trim router. If you are in need of a rotozip check CL, and pawn shops.

Shawn,

Thanks for the info. I think you’re right, I’ll hold off and get a trim router…
