So under the tree this morning what do I find? Just a big box containing a brand new ridged planer. Oh the fun I will have with that.
What new toys did you guys get this year?

A branding iron, 4 machinists squares, an I gaging digital setup tool, a woodworking magazine, quad captor, oh and I guess my new but used Grizzly 3hp saw. I’m spoiled I guess. But my wife made out like a bandit so it’s all good.

I got a set of Gramercy holdfasts! They’re awesome – I’m not sure how I made it without them.

no tools this year, just a bunch of HD gift cards that will go towards refitting our two bathrooms. I guess thats easier than sticking drywall and tile under the tree. Hell I’m sure I’ll find a few small tools to sneak in every now and then as I chip down on the gift cards.

Let us know how you like the new model Ridgid. I have a previous model and love it.

I bought myself a used WoodMizer sawmill off CL so I got all I wanted this year!

Freud 8” Dado, Woodriver chisels, I box vacuum control, Stanley chisel sharpening kit(seems cheap). Good Christmas for me.

-- Bill M. I love my job as a firefighter, but nothing gives me the satisfaction of running my hand over a project that I have built and just finished sanding.
