Found this random picture of a Sears Craftsman Industrial “Shorty” 3/8” drill while performing a Google image search called “Sears Craftsman Industrial.” This is an all-metal version of Black & Decker’s “Shorty” drill that Sears obviously sold (I have this particular drill myself but with the B&D label, and also a 1/4” size chuck rather than the 3/8” size), and so as a Sears product this would’ve been sold around 1980 or ‘81, as by 1983 B&D replaced that with the plastic-bodied version (the 1165-09).

Would you happen to have this same all-metal B&D drill with the Craftsman Industrial label on it – which matches the picture above?
